Terms of Service

Last updated: April 10, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glymo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Service Description

Glymo is a browser-based creative tool that transforms hand-drawn strokes into artwork through real-time smoothing, pressure simulation, visual effects, and camera-based hand tracking. The Service runs primarily in your browser and requires no software installation. Some features, such as AI text recognition, may use cloud processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

User Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all artwork and content you create using Glymo. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your creations.

  • Drawings and artwork you create remain yours to use, share, and commercialize as you see fit.
  • Exported files (PNG, GIF) contain no hidden metadata linking back to the Service.
  • If you share artwork publicly, you are responsible for ensuring it does not infringe on others' rights.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of proprietary components (the open-source core engine is exempt under its MIT license).
  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
  • Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices from the Service.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glymo and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Open Source Components

The core pipeline engine (@glymo/core) is open source under the MIT License. Your use of open-source components is governed by their respective licenses. These Terms of Service apply to the Glymo web application and hosted services, not to the open-source library itself.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
